Upper Age limit and General Relaxation 

The upper age limit for Pakistan Meteorological Department jobs is 18 to 25 years for all posts. However, a general relaxation of 05 years in the upper age limit will be given as per the government policy.While 18 to 28 years of age has been allocated for the posts of Assistant Ministerial.

1: Persons belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Sindh Rural, Balochistan and Tribal Areas will be given age relaxation of 03 years under the Federal Government.

2: Relaxation of 15 years in the upper age limit will be given to retired persons from Pak Army. Their age should not exceed 45 years.

 3: In-service employees or contract employees whose contract has completed 02 consecutive years will be given age relaxation of 10 years.

4: Age relaxation of 10 years for the posts of BPS 15 or below will be given to persons with disabilities.

5: Age relaxation of 05 years will be given to the widow, son or daughter of a civil servant/federal civil servant who died during service.

How Candidates Apply Online ?

Step#01: Interested eligible candidates should submit their applications online through National Job Portal www.njp.gov.pk within the above mentioned date.

Step#02: Candidates must produce original educational documents, identity card along with 2 sets of attested copies of domicile, degrees and certificates issued by recognized institutions at the time of interview.

Step#03: The upper age limit will be calculated from the last date of submission of application. Incomplete or applications received after the last date will not be entertained.

Step#04: Government servants have to send applications through their department and submit NOC/DPC.
